Brackett Foundation Repair’s History

Brackett Foundation Repair’s history starts with a North Carolina man, Eric L. Brackett.

Eric L. Brackett founded the original construction company that would become the Triangle’s most experienced ‘s construction and foundation repair company in 1972.

Founded on superior workmanship and innovation, Brackett’s first company was Eric Brackett Construction Company, Inc. (EBCCI) Their focus was building quality and stability in homes and buildings.

There was a tremendous need for foundation repair work, and EBCCI stepped up to do it gave them opportunities to develop expertise, they became seasoned repair contractors. Their experience gave them insight to modernize foundation repair techniques for the industry. They began manufacturing and distributing quality steel piling products, further advancing their leadership in the industry.

To align the company name with their now established focus in foundation support systems, they founded Brackett Foundation Support Systems, Inc. (BFSSI) in 1992.

Almost twenty years later, again to align their company name with their two related businesses, they founded Brackett Foundation Repair, Inc. (BFRI) as a sister company to BFSSI. The Brackett name is associated with a level of experience, practicality and common sense that is unrivaled in the industry.

In 2011, Brackett Foundation Repair, Inc. was formed to enhance market understanding of their foundation repair business expertise, and to separate the manufacturing and distribution side of Brackett’s business. Although formed in 2011, all the experience and innovation that arose from EBCCI from the early 1970s, remains strong in the installation expertise and techniques, and Brackett’s advanced installation products that they use in their own foundation repair jobs.

Brackett Foundation Repair holds General Contractors license for the state of North Carolina and continually operates installation crews out of the Durham, NC facility. The primary mission of the company estimators is to provide a fair and accurate assessment and present reasonable solutions that are in the best interests of each property owner.
